Karl Hodges founded Hodges Structurals to bring developer-level discipline to the landed home — treating land assessment, cost control, and long-term asset positioning with the same rigor as design itself. Under his direction, the studio has kept its output deliberately small: a limited number of residences released each year, each one taken from land strategy through design, build, and long-term aftercare by a single accountable team.

Karl's approach is hands-on and personal. He is directly involved in every commission the studio takes on, from the first site walk to the final handover, and clients consistently point to that close, personal follow-through as the difference between Hodges Structurals and a standard developer. In 2025, that approach was recognised with an Arabia Property Awards honour for one of the studio's Westlake Avenue residences.
